WhiteFinch

I found copper in the Black Forest and hewed it free with my own hands. The barn grew a chimney and a wraparound upper deck, so even humble timber now bears battlements. I made jam from my first blueberries and boar jerky for my willing belly. Later, I learned farming from Kael, crossed the swamp with him and Bjorn, and brought iron scraps home as spoils. I also slew my first troll. My raft broke beneath the storm, but I built another, sailed the longship home, and left the sea with iron in the chest and life in my bones.

Kael

I brought order to the clan’s stores while Kat joined us, and Retvar’s onions and turnip seeds filled the farming box. Bjorn and I fought savage Draugr in ancient swamp tombs and hauled out much iron. We raised our first longship, then faced thunder, rain, towering waves, and a serpent on Bjorn’s first voyage. The iron came home, ready for flame and steel.

Darth Farter

I claimed a bed in White Finch’s grand so-called barn and woke poorer in blood, for bedbugs had made a feast of me. Never again shall I trust another man’s mattress. I answered the insult with steel: thirty-two necks met my blade. Then I hewed enough timber to make squirrels curse my name and began raising my own house, beam by beam. It shall stand against rain, beasts, darkness, and every biting bastard beneath a roof.
